In Ireland’s power generation and industrial sectors, maintaining productivity, managing operational costs and ensuring process continuity are key to staying competitive in an evolving energy landscape. One critical area that underpins all three is high-purity, demineralised water.

Whether used for boiler feedwater, gas turbine injection or other high-performance applications, the quality of process water directly impacts system reliability, efficiency and lifespan. Poor water quality can quickly lead to fouling, corrosion, and costly downtime - risks that no plant operator wants to face.

    Why Demineralised Water Matters
As Irish industry moves towards more sustainable operations - often using alternative water sources to reduce freshwater dependency - selecting the right industrial water treatment solution becomes even more crucial. A reliable and efficient system can reduce waste, cut costs, and support long-term operational goals.

Introducing TERION™: A Complete Demineralised Water Solution
Our TERION™ range has been specifically developed to meet the demanding standards of the power generation and industrial sectors in Ireland. It integrates Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Continuous Electrodeionisation (CEDI) technologies into a compact, pre-assembled unit - delivering:
    Terion S
    - Over 99.9% removal of dissolved inorganics
    - Over 99% removal of large dissolved organics
    - Flow rates ranging from 5 m³/h to 52 m³/h

For smaller applications, the TERION™ S is ideal - producing from 110 to 4,000 litres per hour, making it a flexible option for sites with reduced water volume needs.

    Reducing Costs with Smarter Design
The combination of RO and CEDI in a single skid-mounted unit, tested before delivery, means faster installation and commissioning. What’s more, the use of high-efficiency motors and Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) pumps can reduce energy consumption by up to 50%.

The system also eliminates the need for acid and caustic chemicals associated with traditional ion exchange systems, thanks to the continuous electrical regeneration of resin beds in the CEDI process — offering both cost and safety benefits.

    Connected, Monitored and Optimised
Both TERION™ and TERION™ S can be integrated with Hubgrade, Veolia’s digital monitoring and optimisation platform. Hubgrade helps Irish businesses:

    - Track system performance in real time
    - Reduce costs through smart data-driven decisions
    - Receive automated alerts for proactive maintenance
    - Improve water efficiency and sustainability performance

Expert Support, Every Step of the Way
From initial consultation and system specification through to installation, commissioning and ongoing maintenance - our local engineering and technical teams in Ireland are on hand to support you.
